About us
Our humble beginnings date back to the early 197's when a young Mexican immigrant couple founded the concept of "tacos in a flash" on the Northside of Chicago in the Humbolt Park neighborhood. As a first generation Mexican I followed in my parents American Dream and embarked back in 1997 on the journey to bring that concept to life once again. That is when Flash Taco was born and on April 7, 1998 we proudly opened our doors in the heart of Wicker Park & Bucktown and continue to thrive 17 years later! Since That day we have been blessed and proud to have served hundreds of thousands of people fresh homemade Mexican food making us a fave day & late nite destination point on the Northside of chicago. Now I have embarked on bringing our successful concept to the Southside of Chicago and have picked the Southshore neighborhood as the new home of Flash taco. It is with much pride and joy that I promise you the residents and neighbors of this great community our commitment to continue to serve you fresh homemade affordable Mexican food which has been our motto!
